Todays Devine inspired devotional
As we walk in faith this new year, let’s draw inspiration from one of the most remarkable stories in the Bible: Peter walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). This extraordinary event reminds us that our abilities, strength, and might are not enough to overcome life’s challenges. Instead, it’s the Spirit of God that empowers us to achieve the impossible.
Just like Peter, many of us are navigating the murky waters of life. We face uncertainties, fears, and doubts that can weigh us down. But as children of God, we have access to a power that transcends our human limitations. The Spirit of God provides speed, protection, and guidance, enabling us to rise above our circumstances.
Peter’s confidence in walking on water wasn’t rooted in his own abilities but in his trust in Jesus. He knew that with Jesus by his side, he could overcome any obstacle. As we journey through life, let’s cultivate a similar mindset. Let’s get excited about God being our Father, Leader, Creator, and Provider!
The more we acknowledge God’s presence and power in our lives, the less we’ll rely on our own understanding. We’ll begin to see that we’re not meant to merely coexist with the challenges of life but to overcome them through faith.
As the Bible reminds us, “We were made to tread on serpents, not politic with them” (Luke 10:19). God’s Word is true, final, and empowering. When we believe and act on His promises, we’ll experience the miraculous in our lives.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us that Your Spirit empowers us to achieve the impossible. Help us to trust You more and to rely less on our own understanding. Give us the faith to tread on the challenges of life, knowing that You are always with us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
