Doer of the Word!
“Do not merely listen to the word… Do what it says.” – James 1:22
A fire without a fighter is as good as spread. You put out the enemies fire every time you work your faith! God wants us to fight the good fight by way of His Spirit. Don’t just say that you trust, show that you trust.
Say this 🗣️ “I live what I believe because my faith is not a game, it’s evidence of my testimony.” Reading the word is good, remembering it is even better. But remember a word that you do not apply is foolish. The word of God is living and His presence is present. God does not expect us to read a word that yields no benefit. That would be almost pointless. Remember, God is not just a God of words but of power. This means that His word is powerful. The power of God is made manifest when we faith our way into finding out for ourselves. So you find out what God has said and you align with His word. You knock until the door opens. Never assume your knocking is in vain. Or that your seeking is without cause. The reward is for the one who does not give up. I reckon the valley of the shadow of death felt like forever for David, Jobs season probably seemed insurmountable, Daniel’s night in the den probably felt like an eternity, they stressed the woman with the issue of blood suffered for 12 LONG years, could you imagine being in a whale or a great fish for 3 hours let alone 3 days? You should have noticed a pattern here, they did not give up. God has yet to break a promise, He is not going to ruin His record to prove a doubter right. Do what you know and eventually what you do will begin to prove that you know what to do. You find faith by testing it! The characters above tested their faith and they did not waver. Do to obey not to validate. Don’t let time determine your faith in a timeless God. If He said it, then it’s THE TRUTH.
✅ Also, Put one scripture you know into action today. Think of a scripture you have yet to see come to pass, but you believe it to be true. Faith around and find out!
