Doorkeeper!
“I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness …” – Psalm 84:10
Everything that glitters is not gold. Just every human body is not whole. It’s more than physical objects it is mind, body, and soul.
Say this 🗣️ “Serving in God’s house is an honor, my role does not matter as long I am positioned to be in His presence.” God alone is truly enough. It would be considered foolish and unwise to believe anything different. Even when the crowd is going one way it’s vital that we remain on the way. Always seeking and believing. Nothing the world offers could ever amount to, let alone replace the presence of God. There is nothing or no one like Him. The comforts of now could very well become the sufferings of tomorrow. This is not to suggest that comfort is a sin, it is not. But comfort in the wrong thing may easily become a sin . God wants to be our comforter. There is a peace that only He can give. It is supernaturally imposed and divinely orchestrated. Denying yourself of worldly pleasures creates room for divine impartation. Choosing to serve a king in any capacity is an honor and it honorable. God does not take lightly our desires to please Him at any cost. It’s not about a title or personal recognition but it’s about position and proximity. Put God first and He will ensure you are never last. When you make a decision to enters into His courts. You have decided to be exposed to fire. He does not wish to burn but purify. Though some will be destroyed God will always preserve the parts of you that are most like Him. The closer you are the God, the better. You may be set apart but at least you are APART!
✅ Also, today pray for your church leaders, mentors, advisors, role mods etc. Your position in their life matters. You may as well make it count!
