So many people recite the Lord’s Prayer by mouth, yet neglect to follow God as their Shepherd in spirit and in truth. The greatest instruction for being led is to follow. We don’t follow God because it’s easy; we follow God for who He is. He promised to go with us through deep waters. Don’t allow your eyes to keep you from seeing the power of God manifest in your life. What’s impossible for you is possible with God. God is everything, and apart from Him, we can do nothing. When you feel limited, stop and ask yourself: Are you walking alone, or are you allowing the Shepherd to guide you? The steps of a good man are ordered by God. But it takes a great man to follow God’s orders in every season without compromise.
